The Redemption Fund of The Smile Back Foundation was formed in partnership with Brandon Novak and Michael Stubblefield in order to help more people solidify their sobriety through dental implants.
Through Dr. Brady Smith, Brandon Novak, and Steve-O, Dr. Simon Oh got the word and helped Stubbs transform his appearance and ability to eat in just 1 day.
Stubbs had conquered his battle with addiction for many years, yet his smile was a constant reminder of what he has been through. Hear his testimony about what this procedure has done for him. Many people who get this procedure are able to truly feel better about themselves which is contagious.
Donate today to help others conquer this disease of addiction. Light up the darkness. ***Applicants for this procedure must be vetted by Redemption Addiction Treatment Center. 1 year of continuous sobriety and completion of the 12 steps are the minimum requirements. ***
We partner with Rampage Jackson and Brandon Novak for these life-changing surgeries.
At Smile Back Foundation, we believe in the power of collaboration to make an impact in the world.
See how lives are being transformed through our surgical missions.

highlights
Our cases in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
February 2024 - 22 year old man had a large Ameloblastoma (very aggressive benign tumor) of the mandible that extended close to the skull base. We resected the tumor and reconstructed the mandible with a fibula free flap.
March 2025 - 9 year old girl could not open her mouth and had severe insecurity over how she talks and could not eat real food. Her dad died and mom abandoned her so her grandma is raising her. She had TMJ ankylosis (fused joints) and we released her joints and place rib grafts until she’s old enough to get a full joint replacement.
March 2024 - 9 year old boy in Guatemala had an aggressive benign tumor of the mandible called an Ameloblastoma. It’s locally invasive, and often recurs. We removed the tumor, and reconstructed his mandible and now this young man can live a normal life!
January 2025 - Michael Stubblefield had conquered his battle with addiction for many years, yet his smile was a constant reminder of what he has been through.
September 2025 - Woman has Maxillary Necrosis secondary to cancer and received microvascular reconstruction and free flaps.

" I can’t expresss my gratitude to my fellow colleagues who share a selfless mission to help save a life with no financial reward or compensation. That’s why I started the @smilebackusa foundation. "

" I normally wouldn’t travel for surgical missions more than once per year but when I was in Guatemala in February 2024 for another case I met Pablo and his mother. I couldn’t allow myself to make him wait until next team trip there, which would be in over 6 months. We put together a small surgical team and made this happen. Again, thank you to everyone involved. He is doing well 💪🏼 "

" This is the power of the Smile Back Foundation and ORCAA. I have seen the impact with my own eyes and it is something I believe in because it is genuine. The doctors I have met here are doing this out of care and love for people who thought they would never smile again. "
